Ron Cunningham's The Nutcracker
Best-known and most beloved of all Sacramento Ballet productions, Ron Cunningham's The
Nutcracker has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people. The images of young Clara battling the Giant Mouse King, being saved by her Nutcracker Prince, and then journeying
to the magical Snowflake Forest and Kingdom of the Sweets have become a part of our culture. Joining the professional company in this annual production are more than 500
youngsters from throughout the region who take their first "leap" into the world of performing arts with the Sacramento Ballet, making it a true holiday
spectacular.

Unwrapping the Presents Beneath the Tree: A look behind the scenes The Sacramento Ballet hopes you'll join us to learn more about our favorite holiday
tradition! Arrive at the theatre by 12:30pm on Saturday or 11:30am on Sunday to watch the end of company class on stage, see the stagehands begin preparations for the
performance, and talk with our Artistic Directors, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier about what makes this ballet a magical experience for everyone involved!
