BBT's rendition of the holiday classic The Nutcracker has long been considered an East Bay must, and was recently called "more touching than San Francisco Ballet's performance," by New York Times Dance annual. The principal roles in this year's The Nutcracker will be performed by members of BBT's Youth Company. Selected from the highest levels of BBT's school, Youth Company members are pre-professional level dancers, many of whom have spent their summers training in schools affiliated with American Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet and more.
