The Indianapolis School of Ballet marked its 10th Anniversary production of The Nutcracker in 2016 with a move to the  Old National Centre's historic Murat Theatre to accommodate both larger crowds and, for the first time, accompaniment of a live orchestra.
 
The move for the growing Indianapolis holiday season tradition was a success, so much so that the Indianapolis School of Ballet is adding a fourth public performance to its run at The Murat in 2017, taking place from December 21-23.
 
For its annual production of The Nutcracker, ISB's talented cast of young performers will be supplemented by members of the new Indianapolis Ballet professional company in some of the ballet's featured roles.
